Job Description BAE Systems site in York, Pennsylvania is
seeking a Supply Chain Program Manager. In this role, the Program
Manager manages supplier's cost, schedule, and technical
performance to support program objectives.
- Serves as the key conduit between the program, supplier, and
company functional organizations to ensure that program objectives
are met.
- Develops and implements supply chain strategy and manages
requirements.
- In conjunction with program management, procurement and
matrixed functional groups, assesses program needs, develops the
supply chain strategy, supports make/buy analysis, develops program
supply chain plans, develops teaming agreements, supports business
development, marketing, and proposal efforts including development
of program material cost estimates and budgets.
- Ensures that suppliers are competitively sourced to the maximum
extent practicable to support program objectives.
- Supports program management and procurement by: conducting
market surveys; identifying potential sources; leading supplier
sourcing symposiums and bidder conferences; leading the development
of and communicating requirement documents such as scopes of work,
performance or critical item development specifications, schedules,
Subcontract Data Requirement Lists; leading cross-functional
technical, schedule, and past performance evaluation teams; leading
proposal evaluation; fact-finding and supporting the negotiation of
single source supplier proposals to ensure that all program
objectives and schedules are met. Required Education, Experience, &
Skills
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
and six (6) years of directly related work experience (operations,
supply chain, procurement), preferably in a government-contracting
environment or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with defense aerospace industry and regulations
with an understanding of the role of procurement in complex
industries.
- Knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations and the nature of flow
down requirements.
- Comprehensive understanding of subcontractor solicitations and
bid analysis/process.
- Strong working experience developing and implementing
category/commodity strategies across a broad range of Electrical,
Electro-Mechanical and Mechanical technologies.
- Demonstrated ability of supplier management to resolve
contractual and performance issues with suppliers perform cost
/price negotiations .
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related industry
software.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Desire for continuous improvement
- Generosity of thought and knowledge
- Familiarity with Oracle purchasing system
- Technical Background (Ability to read drawings)
- 6 plus years' experience in operations, supply chain,
procurement
- Understanding/knowledge of CPSR audits and requirements.Pay
InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $87700 - $149100Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Employee
