Job Title : Data Centre Structural Engineer
Reporting to : Director of Research & Development
Job Type : Full Time (Exempt)

The Data Centre Structural Engineer will play a pivotal role in the
design and implementation of structural systems for our
cutting-edge solutions. Working closely with our project teams, the
successful candidate will ensure the structural integrity, safety,
and reliability of critical infrastructure components to support
our clients' mission-critical operations.
Execute structural analysis and design for data center projects
including rack support systems and structural ceilings.
Prepare detailed engineering calculations and specifications in
compliance with the required building codes and industry
standards.
Perform site visits and inspections to assess existing structures
and identify opportunities for improvement or retrofitting.
Utilize specialized software tools such as SCIA or Tekla or RISA
Structures for modelling and analysis.
Provide technical expertise and guidance on structural design
principles, materials selection, and construction methods.
Support project management activities, including budgeting,
scheduling, and resource allocation.
Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and project
coordination efforts to ensure successful project delivery.
Contribute to the design, development, and testing of new products
and technologies.
Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which
includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to
in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws,
Regulations, and market demands.
Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to
their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or
through the confidential whistle blower service's
Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil
Engineering.
2-3 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
Proficiency in structural analysis software and FEA design
(e.g.
RISA structures, STAAD PRO, ETABS, RISA connection)
Strong knowledge of building regulations and codes.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the
ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and
contractors.
Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to quality, accuracy,
and safety.
