Join a diverse group of thinkers and do some of the most meaningful work of your career.Required Skills:Design Engineer, GenAI Responsibilities:Define and synthesize user requirementsHelp establish design processes to align cross-functional teamsContribute to strategic decisions, working with engineering and research teamsDesign and create user experience prototypes and individually contribute to the feature setWork with user research to user test and iterate on the prototypesGive and solicit feedback from others to raise the quality and craftsmanship of the productPartner with product designers, PMs, engineers, researchers and content designers, overseeing the implementation of the user experienceQuickly solve issues with your cross-functional leadsClearly articulate design decisions to a vast set of internal stakeholdersHelp build product strategyAdvocate for product design within MetaThrive in dynamic, fast-paced environmentsMinimum Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:6+ years of experience in shipping software productsDesign skills and the proven experience to lead in cross-functional environmentsKnowledge of qualitative and quantitative methods for user researchExperience to think at a high level about product strategy and visionPortfolio featuring examples of interaction and visual workExperience building prototypes in short timeframesPreferred Qualifications:Preferred Qualifications:Experience programming in Swift, JavaScript, Python, or similarExperience working with researchersPublic Compensation:$165,000/year to $231,000/year + bonus + equity + benefitsIndustry: InternetEqual Opportunity:Meta is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
