Apply today!About the roleThe Environmental Engineer will support a variety of high-level projects critical to ongoing sustainability, policy, and environmental compliance projects. Key examples are:

• Support greenhouse gas reporting, analysis, and lifecycle assessment (LCA).
• Support permitting efforts, environmental compliance management systems and auditing.
• Support sustainability reporting, including corporate report, CDP, and indices.
• Provide support for sales teams on sustainability related services.
• Develop resources for education, outreach, and communication on environmental and sustainability related topics.
• Participate in and/or support community outreach, including through presentations and events with stakeholders.Job Location: Position will be based out of Morristown, NJWork Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office 2 days from home)Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science in relevant engineering (chemical, mechanical, environmental), or science (biology, chemistry, environmental science). Experience: 1 - 3 years experience as an environmental or sustainability professional. Interest in a position with wide range of accountability through projects related to full scale operating facilities. Experience gained in the following areas / topics is considered directly applicable:
  • Waste management industry
  • Combustion and air pollution control technology.
  • Environmental and operational data management systems.
  • Lifecycle analysis and carbon / greenhouse gas emission accounting.
  • Research on sustainability related topics, particularly climate, energy, and waste management.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    • Curious and problem-solving mindset
      • Attitude of ownership, ability to self-start, and carry work through to completion with ability to be a team member.
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills including technical documentation.
      • Excellent organizational and time management skills to facilitate working on multiple projects.
