Job Description:
Job Description This position combines the roles of
Manufacturing Process Engineer and BOM Production Control Planner,
requiring a strong understanding of both manufacturing processes
and bill of materials management. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for supporting production, business, and other
processes, while also ensuring the accuracy and integrity of bills
of materials.Key Responsibilities:This is role will require you to
travel 50% between Anniston, AL and York, PA
- Participate in cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing
issues.
- Utilize theoretical knowledge of various manufacturing
processes.
- Develop and maintain Standard Work for established
processes.
- Collaborate with other teams to structure and maintain
Operation Sequence Numbers.
- Lead Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis to mitigate
risks.
- Evaluate design and production changes for their impact on
manufacturing processes.
- Analyze complex problems and provide structured corrective
actions.
- BOM Production Control Planning:
- Audit, modify, and maintain manufacturing bills of materials
(mBOM).
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and procurement
teams.
- Orchestrate the release and updates of Manufacturing BOMs.
- Conduct data analysis and ensure mBOM accuracy.
- Review change documents and maintain mBOM accuracy throughout
the Product Lifecycle Management process.
- Proactively engage with departments to ensure timely completion
of mBOMs and changes.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Ability to travel 50% of the time.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and bills of
materials.
- Proficiency in professional communication and
collaboration.
- Knowledge of MRP systems, change control protocols, and PLM
tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant
software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred
Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience with fabrication processes, military vehicle
systems, and Department of Defense work.
- Proficiency in EPDM and Oracle Workbench.Pay
InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $115100 - $195700Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Employee
