Civil Engineer for our Mineola, NY Office. Come join our team! We

Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of

of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the
Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective
team to serve clients. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices
in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park,
NJ.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of civil engineering analysis and design
tasks related to: roadway and grading design, site plan layout,
zoning analysis, site stormwater management, utility planning and
layout, parking analysis and layout, vehicle maneuvering analysis,
site ADA compliance
- Support coordination and presentation of submissions with local
utilities, municipalities, environmental agencies, and town
planning boards
- Perform site investigations to observe and document existing
conditions
- Complete and review design calculations; assist in the
preparation of drawings and specifications
- Support the development of project plans, design calculations,
specifications and the coordination with other design disciplines
as required to deliver high quality engineering services
- Perform construction inspections and provide responses and
solutions to issues during the construction administration phase of
projects
- Utilize a broad assortment of technical and project management
skills on projects that range from small site restorations to large
scale new construction
- Attend professional industry functions
- Support the development of technical standards and mentor-ship
of junior engineering staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- 5+ years' experience in Civil Engineering
- NY PE required
- Ability to provide guidance to junior level engineers
- Understanding and application of code requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to multitask and consistently meet deadlines
- AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience a requirement.We are committed

commensurate with experience, a comprehensive benefits package and
a positive work environment. - Compensation: Min: $110,000 - Max:
$135,000. The range provided is the salary that the Firm in a good
faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for
the advertised position. Exact compensation will be determined on
the individual candidates qualifications and location. - Visa
