We have an immediate need for Senior Environmental Engineer for our fast growing Edison (Metro Park), New Jersey Office. Come join our team! Our New Jersey operation is poised for growth and we need an accomplished environmental engineer or scientist to lead that effort.

Responsibilities

• Performing a wide range of environmental engineering analysis and design tasks related to: planning, environmental site investigation (subsurface and hazardous materials), remediation design and remedial operations
• Coordination and presentation of design submissions with clients and environmental regulatory agencies
• Perform and manage site investigations to observe and document existing conditions
• Supervise the development of project plans, design calculations and specifications
• Coordinate with other disciplines as required to deliver services
• Complete and review planning documents, design calculations; assist in the preparation of bid packages, design drawings and technical specifications
• Provide solutions to technical and contractual issues during the projects
• Utilize a broad assortment of technical and project management skills on projects that range from small site restorations to large scale new construction
• Engage with existing clients to expand our services and pursue new clients to support growth of the environmental business in New Jersey and the Northeast Region
• Lead the preparation of proposals for environmental consulting services
• Attend industry and business development events as a representative of the firm
• Mentor and develop junior environmental group staff
  
  Qualifications
  
  
  
  
  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering or Science
  • 12+ years' experience in Environmental Engineering/Environmental Consulting
  • NJ PE or PG required
  • NJ LSRP is a plus
  • Ability to provide guidance to engineers and scientists of all skill and experience levels
  • Understanding and application of environmental regulations, hazardous materials handling and disposal requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
