Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Industrial
Maintenance Mechanic to join our growing team. As a key member of
our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing
machinery, equipment, and systems in a food processing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect machinery and equipment for defects, such as breakage or
excessive wear.
- Troubleshoot and repair production and processing equipment, with
a focus on modern automated systems.
- Analyze complex mechanical issues and implement effective
solutions while adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect
malfunctions.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve
issues and ensure minimal downtime.
- Dismantle defective machinery and install new or repaired
parts.
- Clean and lubricate machinery components, including shafts,
bearings, and gears.
- Maintain operations of various systems, such as pneumatic,
hydraulic, and ammonia systems.
- Install and repair electrical components, including transformers,
switches, breakers, and wiring.
- Perform structural repairs and replacements on equipment as
needed.
- Operate cutting torches and welding equipment to repair metal
parts.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to extend the life of equipment
and systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals for
repairs and installations.
- Work with Material Handling Equipment and maintain safety
standards.
- Work efficiently in a cold storage environment, with production
rooms maintained at 32 degrees Fahrenheit (and colder in some
areas).
What You Bring:
- A strong understanding of industrial maintenance and
troubleshooting techniques.
- Proven experience working with automated systems and machinery in
a production environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks,
including bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
- Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends, as
required.
- Ability to work independently and stay self-motivated in a
dynamic, industrial setting.
- Comfort working in a refrigerated environment for extended
periods.
- A strong work ethic and commitment to safety and high
standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Military experience is highly valued.
- Experience in the food processing industry or similar fields is a
plus.
