Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our upscale dining restaurant in Philadelphia, PA. With a hands-on owner and a 5-day work week, we value work-life balance. Our menu boasts 99% scratch-made dishes and a unique beverage program.As the Assistant General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of our restaurant, including managing front-of-house staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a positive work environment. You will also create and execute the weekly schedule, manage inventory and ordering supplies, and handle customer complaints.You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and consistent quality. You will assist in developing and implementing new policies and procedures to improve operations and collaborate with our owner to curate and update our beverage program.Your main goal will be to ensure a seamless and exceptional dining experience for all of our guests.Benefits:

  • Must have extensive knowledge and passion for wine and overall beverage program development
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in restaurant management, preferably in upscale or fine dining establishments
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a front-of-house team
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism
