Sodexo Live! Airport Lounge Segment has an exciting opening for an Airport Lounge General Manager for the exclusive and ultra-premium joint lounges at John F. Kennedy International Airport (British Airways/American Airlines). The lounges are dedicated space for elite passengers to relax, rejuvenate and enjoy a la carte meals or order beverages from the full-service champagne bar. This lounges will service international, long-haul travelers and will offer top-tier amenities and expanded premium food and beverage offerings. We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager who is focused on high-end, strategic food and beverage programs, financials/budgets and cost controls for multiple lounge locations.
As the Club General Manager, you will have responsibility for daily operations and service staff including food operations managers, bartenders, cooks, supervisors and appearance care (custodial staff), and all food and beverage services for these private lounges. This is a hands-on manager role and will be very active in daily service operations and unit financials. The ideal candidate will have fine-dining/elevated service standards within restaurants/hotels, food, beverage and culinary knowledge/experience, a strong eye for detail, overall excellent service standards and most importantly, be a true team leader. As the General Manager you will also be responsible for monitoring financials and cost controls.

The successful candidate will:


  • have oversight of daily food operations and deliver a high-quality product;
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
  • motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline (hourly) staff;
  • ensure Sodexo standards are met to include compliance with company food and physical safety programs.
