go, or at home - wherever they may be.Job DescriptionReporting
directly to the COO, the Manager of People Operations role will be
responsible for driving key people-focused initiatives throughout
the organization. The Manager of People Operations will work with
the COO on projects including, but not limited to:
- Refining employee onboarding materials and leading new hire
training
- Enhancing existing employee recognition programs, including
performance reviews and promo cycles, while implementing new
ones
- Working with Big Happy employees to address inbound
people-related questions/concerns
- Leading company culture committee
- Leading recruiting efforts and sending all new employee job
offers.Minimum Entrance RequirementsTo perform this job
successfully, the individual must possess the following:
- A bachelor's degree or higher in human resources, business
administration, organizational development or related field, or a
comparable mix of education, experience, and skills
- At least three years of People Ops experience with increasing
responsibilities
- Demonstrated interest in startups and/or
adtechQualificationsCandidates should possess the following
attributes for the position:
- Broad knowledge of and experience in People Ops principles and
practices and People Ops functions, including policy development
and administration, recruitment and retention, compensation and
classification, employee relations, performance management, and
current HRIS
- SHRM or PCP certification a plus
- Experience successfully incorporating Diversity, Equity &
Inclusion (DEI) goals into People Ops processes, programs, and
initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to successfully develop and meet strategic
People Ops goals and improve People Ops performance by utilizing
data and metrics
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to
effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with
multiple competing priorities and projectsLocation
