Job Description:

Title: Building Management System Technician (BMS Tech)
Location: Clifton, NJ 07011 (Office Location). You will report from home in this position and can live within a daily commutable distance to Long Island, NY.
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Compensation: $40 - $50 per hour + OT + Mileage Reimbursement + Cell/Laptop

Travel: Daily travel reporting to local customer sites on Long Island & NYC. A lot of company employees utilize public transportation to commute daily. All tools can be carried in a backpack.

Position Description: The company is looking for an employee who has a background in HVAC/BMS Equipment maintenance with the necessary skills for the maintenance and repair of all essential devices and equipment for their client's HVAC/BMS needs. As a BMS Tech, you will install, and maintain automated systems to improve efficiency and productivity. BMS Techs also troubleshoot and repair complex automation equipment. You will become familiar with programmable logic controllers, calibration, and precision measuring instruments. The BMS Tech monitors, inspects, maintains, repairs, and installs heating, air conditioning, and lighting system controls, infrastructure panels, network controllers, and cabling. Performs assessment troubleshooting and repairs communication issues, program updates, and controls component hardware. Maintains and repairs graphic and logic issues as well as alarms setup and monitoring of the building automation system. Performs preventative maintenance, calibration, programming, and maintenance of instrumentation, equipment, and controls for optimum performance through the Building Automation Systems. As a BMS Tech you will be expected to share information and communicate effectively to develop good work relationships with co-workers, supervisors, vendors, and customers. All BMS Techs receive ample on-the-job training and shadowing from senior techs.

Requirements:
--- 1-2+ years of HVAC troubleshooting experience.
--- 1-2+ years of HVAC BMS Systems experience with Automated Logic, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell, etc. The company utilizes and will train you on Automated Logic.
