Job Title: Home Health Aide - Caregiving Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Health Aide to join our team at CareConnect. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as providing emotional support and companionship.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
• Assist patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
  Qualifications:
  • Certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient confidentiality.
  • Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
  • Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency.
  • Demonstrated adequate literacy and simple arithmetic skills.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Able to read and write at a 5th-grade level.
