Job Description:

A services organization in New Jersey is currently seeking a certified Medical Assistant (MA) for a promising opportunity at one of their sites in Essex County.

About the Opportunity:

Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Onsite 5 days a week
Hours: 7am to 3:30pm or 7:30am to 4pm Responsibilities:

The Medical Assistant (MA) will
- Perform physicals and follow up with employees/candidates if needed
- File paperwork
- Perform other job-related duties, as required Qualifications:
  - High School Diploma / GED
  - Completion of a Medical Assistant (MA)
  - Experience with Hearing, Vision and PFT testing
  - Experience and ability to navigate an Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) Desired Skills:
    - NIOSH Spirometry and CAHOC certification
    - Experience performing physical exams
    - Experience in an Occupational Health role/setting
    - Knowledge of DOT regulations and requirements for medical clearance
    - Experience with Phlebotomy and UA/UDS specimen collection
