A healthcare organization in New York City is currently seeking a licensed PMR Physician to join their growing team in Queens. About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday (Part time or full time)
• Hours: 9am to 5pm or 10am to 6pm or 11am to 7pm
• Specialty: PMR - Pain Management
• Setting: OutpatientResponsibilities:The PMR Physician will:
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, or other functional impairments
  • Assess patients' medical history, physical condition, and functional limitations
  • Establish accurate diagnoses based on clinical assessments, medical history, and any necessary diagnostic tests
  • Develop personalized treatment plans to address the specific needs and goals of each patient
  • Prescribe and oversee physical therapy and rehabilitation exercises to improve mobility, strength, and function.
  • Administer joint or soft tissue injections when necessary for pain management or therapeutic purposes
  • Manage chronic pain conditions using a combination of medical, physical, and psychological approaches.
  • Prescribe medications or other pain management techniques to alleviate discomfort and improve function
  • Perform and interpret electrodiagnostic studies such as electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies to assess nerve and muscle function.
  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and strategies for self-management.
  • Perform other duties, as neededQualifications:
    • Licensed to practice in the State of New York
    • Board Eligible / Certified
