  • This position is for the CVOR
  • Staffing Ratios: 1:2
  • Years of Experience Required: 3
  • Experience Required: Traveler needs to be able to scrub and circulate Cardiac surgery
  • Cardiac surgery experience required: CABGs, Aortic/ Mitral Valves repairs/replacements, heart transplants, dissections, LVADs
  • Experience with Vascular/Thoracic (EVAR, TEVAR, TCAR, open AAA) surgery preferred
  • Charting System: Epic
  • First time travelers are accepted with appropriate experience
  • Scrubs are provided
    • Job Requirements
    • 3 years of experience in Cardiac surgery
    • PA License required
    • Traveler needs to be able to scrub and circulate Cardiac surgery
      • Schedule Information
      • During the first week, travelers are expected to work 5x8 hour shifts (Mon-Fri) to complete orientation
      • If additional orientation is required after the 1st week, traveler will then orient as necessary at 12-hour shifts
      • Shift time: 7a-7:30p
      • The facility will consider 4x10s
      • Weekend requirement: On call
      • On Call Requirements: 4 call shifts per 13-week contract, days and hours vary
      • No holiday requirement

        • This position is for the CVOR
        • Floating information - If Cardiac volume is down may need to work in other services in the OR, this could be General, Urology, ENT, etc.
