Hematology and Oncology MD in Pennsylvania!
About The Position
Job Title: Physician (MD) Job Specialty: Internal Medicine -
Hematology and Oncology Job Duration: 13 months Shift: Day - 8x5 -
09AM Guaranteed Hours: Not Specified Experience: Board
Certification Eligible License: Active PA license or IMLC with LOQ
Certifications: Not Required Must-Have: Completion of 3 hours of
education in child abuse recognition and reporting, and 4 hours of
education relating to pain management and opioid prescribing
practicesJob Description:- Office hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM
to 4 PM- Possible travel two days per week to a nearby office (30
minutes away) for office hours, not required for all providers-
Daily hospital rounds/consults on assigned weeks- Weekend hospital
rounds/consults (Saturday and Sunday) on assigned weekends, 4 hours
per day onsite- Supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)-
After-hours call may be required for clinic critical values or
urgent patient matters, no need to return to clinic or hospital in
person- Acts as a consulting service only, no hospital admissions-
Option for locum-to-permanent placement- Practice is located in a
modern building with multiple medical services, including a nurse
navigator program and radiation oncology- Staffing includes
Infusion RNs, RN navigators, and both inpatient and outpatient
APPs- Requires completion of Pennsylvania-mandated training for
child abuse recognition and opioid prescribing practices- Seeks
candidates with long-term availabilityPlease note that
credentialing takes an estimated timeframe of 14 days.
