day-to-day activities of a team of production workers to ensure
that manufacturing operationsrun according to established
production specifications and schedules, volume, cost and wastage
targets orquality standards.The Production Supervisor for 1st shift
Pain Control will have anywhere from 45-50 direct reports where
they will have to manage vacations days off and ensure training as
well as conduct required disciplinary documentation. The supervisor
will also be required to fill out Tier 0 cell boards, Tier 1
boards, and conduct daily Gemba walks utilizing Supervisor K-Cards
to identify areas of improvement to maintain efficient production
levels and continue to improve. Monitors the volume and quality of
output and adjust tasks, timing, equipment set-up or inputs so
thatproduction specifications are met and resources are used
efficiently.Supervises staff to ensure that all production tasks
are performed and all machines and equipment operatedsafely.Trains
new workers in the organization's operating procedures and
standards.Responsible for shift safety, training and continuous
improvement activities.Prepares production reports so that
performance problems can be identified and resolved.Responsible for
personnel actions including (but not limited to) hiring,
performance management and termination.The job function listed is

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:Requires full working knowledge

field. Uses standard theories, principles and concepts and

work at frequent intervals. Accountabilities include work and
people scheduling, performance management and recommendations for
hiring decisions.Judgement is required in resolving all day-to-day
problemsContacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads,
subordinates, and peers. Occasional contact with external
contractors/vendors. The targeted range for this role takes into
account a range of factors that are considered when making
compensation and hiring decisions; included but not limited to:
skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications;
and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range

Experience/Training/Education/Etc Required:Bachelor's degree
required or equivalent combination of education and experience.0-04
years related experience required.Applicable industry/professional
