Job Description:

This Sous Chef will be on a leadership team that is passionate about fostering a positive work culture, deepening their team's culinary knowledge, and is committed to the guest experience. This individual is exceedingly dependable, puts forth a great attitude, and has a desire to learn and grow each day. A minimum of three years experience is required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• 
  
• Working hand-in-hand with fellow FOH and BOH managers to oversee service while continuously thinking of areas for growth
  
• Being team-oriented and ready to step in and come to the aid of their staff at any time
  
• Supporting service by jumping in on food preparation, on the line, and in dish plating
  
• Thriving in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
  
• Developing and assisting to oversee changing of the menus, and overall meal presentations
  
• Being a strong and diligent communicator
  
• Ensuring the kitchen staff operates in a timely manner
  
• Overseeing inventory and reordering of supplies
  
• Recruiting and training new staff for all BOH positions
  
• Ensuring the quality of product is of the highest standard
  
• Ensuring food safety and sanitation regulations are of the highest standard
  
• Writing the kitchen team schedule
  
• Being a problem solver
  
• Working on weekends
