About the RoleThe Pastry Sous Chef is a key member of our pastry team, responsible for executing and developing our pastry menu. This role oversees a team of Pastry Cooks, ensuring high-quality products are prepared in all areas of the pastry department.Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure high performance and excellence in the Pastry Department during service periods.
  • Maintain positive working relationships and clear communication with Kitchen & Service teams.
  • Ensure recipes, products, and food preparations meet restaurant specifications and culinary excellence standards.
  • Provide support to pastry staff and participate in line as needed.
  • Assist in food prep assignments and cooking during peak periods, ensuring sufficient food products are stocked at line stations.
  • Maintain a clean and stocked workplace, prep area, kitchen area, storage area, and walk-in.
  • Deliver a culture of Enlightened Hospitality to guests and team members.Requirements
    • 2+ years' experience in a Pastry leadership position.
    • Certification in Hospitality-related field, or equivalent (preferred).
    • Understanding of baking and pastry techniques, production, and basic kitchen equipment usage.
    • Eagerness to learn and grow.
    • Positive demeanor, ability to give and take direction, and passion for the food industry.
    • Open availability.
    • English fluency and additional languages preferred, but not required.What We Offer
