About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Jos-- Andr--s Group - NoMad. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading and managing all restaurant operations, ensuring a world-class culinary experience for our guests.Key Responsibilities

• Culinary Leadership: Work closely with the Head Chef to execute and maintain menus to brand standards, educate the team on regional history, culture, and cuisine, and develop and coach culinary standards.
• Performance and Talent Development: Educate and coach team members to exceed expectations, develop a team of leaders, and provide feedback and guidance to ensure success.
• Ambassador of JAG Culture: Lead by example, demonstrate ownership and accountability, and create a positive work environment by promoting JAG's vision and values.
• Manage Daily Operations: Ensure concept vision is executed, maintain a daily log, and communicate with the team and managers to prevent issues.
• Manage Financial Results: Develop and execute a plan to stay within department budgets, manage inventory and waste, and ensure tools such as Compeat are utilized correctly.Requirements
  • Minimum 3+ years of sous chef experience and 5+ years of kitchen experience.
  • Culinary degree preferred.
