Job Description:

Are you captivated by intricate baking science, delicate mixing, and enchanting taste? If so, join our innovative team as a passionate pastry assistant. We seek individuals with organic understanding of rustic breads, fermentation, and laminated doughs. Responsibilities include:

Preparing ingredients for cooking
Setting up and breaking down the Pastry Department each shift
Storing food safely
Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen thoroughly
Assisting with baking under direction of the department

The ideal assistant has a passion for baking, pastries, and ideology. They must understand DOH and OSHA standards and regulations, with meticulous attention to detail and a sense of urgency. Additional skills include clear communication, time management, and organization. Assistants must work weekends and holidays, lifting 50 pounds, with a focus on working independently and multi-tasking. Strong communication skills and professional working proficiency in English are a plus.
