About the Role:The Pastry Cook at Gramercy Tavern is a key member of our culinary team, responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality pastry items for our guests. This role requires a strong passion for food, excellent technical skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present high-quality pastry items, including desserts, breads, and pastries, to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
• Work closely with the culinary team to ensure that all pastry items are prepared and presented to the highest standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Participate in menu planning and development, providing input on new pastry items and seasonal specials.
• Communicate effectively with the service team to ensure that all pastry items are delivered to the correct tables and in a timely manner.Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience as a Pastry Cook in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Excellent technical skills, including baking, pastry preparation, and presentation.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time, with frequent lifting and carrying of heavy objects.What We Offer:
