About the Role:We are seeking a skilled Culinary Expert to join our team at Mango Bay. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.Key Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients, sauces, and garnishes in accordance with recipes and presentation standards, ensuring freshness and quality in all food items.
• Cooking: Execute cooking techniques for various dishes, including grilling, frying, saut--ing, and baking, while maintaining high standards of taste and presentation.
• Kitchen Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations, and assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
• Collaboration: Work as part of a team, communicating effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
• Quality Control: Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary to meet restaurant standards.Qualifications:
  • Experience: Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen, preferably in a fine dining or Afro-Caribbean setting.
  • Culinary Skills: Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and presentation styles unique to Afro-Caribbean cuisine.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
  • Team Player: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Culinary Education: Formal culinary training or relevant certifications are a plus.Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
