This position is ideal for an enthusiastic chef looking to grow their skills in a dynamic kitchen environment.Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily operations of the kitchen, supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef.
• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high quality and consistency.
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage ingredients to minimize waste.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff on culinary techniques, recipes, and kitchen protocols.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop seasonal menu items and special dishes.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace that reflects the standards of Giuseppe & Sons.Requirements
  • 2+ years of culinary experience in an upscale or fine-dining environment.
  • Familiarity with Italian cuisine and a passion for Italian cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a desire to teach and inspire junior team members.
  • Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and commitment to high-quality service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
