About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Gjelina Group New York. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring the highest standards of quality and consistency.Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Chef de Cuisine to develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes.
• Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, plating, and presentation.
• Manage and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
• Monitor and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
• Collaborate with the FOH team to ensure excellent customer service and a positive dining experience.Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Proven track record of success in menu development, kitchen operations, and team management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on creativity, presentation, and flavor.
