COTE: A Unique Dining Experience
COTE is a Korean Steakhouse that combines the dining experience of Korean Barbeque with the hallmarks of a classic American Steakhouse. It offers USDA Prime beef, a 1200+ label wine list, and classic-but-creative cocktails. The restaurant features smokeless grills in every table and cuts from its in-house dry aging room, ensuring hot, fresh, and caramelized steaks. COTE is New York City's first Korean Steakhouse.

  • Setup and sanitize workstations.
  • Measure ingredients and seasonings, and prepare cooking ingredients for service.
  • Perform basic cooking duties like monitoring stock levels, reducing sauces, and preparing pickles and kimchi.
  • Ensure food and other items are stored properly and tagged, date-labeled, covered, and rotated effectively.
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
  • Supervise food and cooling room temperatures.
  • Label, stock, and organize ingredients for easy accessibility.
  • Work efficiently with the kitchen team and comply with company procedures and food safety standards.
  • Keep utensils and equipment clean and sanitary.
  • Report to each scheduled shift on time, in uniform, and ready to work.
  • Assist other stations or areas of the restaurant when requested by management.
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by the Chefs to maintain food quality, cost control, consistency, and cleanliness.
  • Be quick, diligent, and willing to improve on the job.
  • Maintain a professional and positive attitude.
  • Familiarity with Korean cuisine.
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes (at least 50 lbs).
  • Ability to walk, stand, and bend for extended periods of time over multiple floors.
  • Occasional kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing is required.
  • Available to work weekends, nights, and holidays as the business dictates.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
  • Previous NYC hospitality experience preferred (2+ years).
  • Hourly compensation based on experience.Compensation and Benefits
