Beverage Manager Job Description

At Private Listing, we seek an experienced Beverage Manager to lead our beverage operations.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and execute seasonal cocktail menus, employee trainings, event beverage programs, and wine selections.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and labor regulations, maintaining high operating standards.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences, addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
• Drive service standards, actively participating in service and providing continuous support to staff.
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness and organization, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere.
• Effectively staff the restaurant to meet service standards.
• Conduct weekly beverage receiving, inventory, and ordering in conjunction with the beverage management team.
• Achieve weekly sales goals, providing reporting for ordering purposes.

  Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a restaurant.
  • Expert wine and beverage knowledge.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to teach and mentor employees.
  • Proficiency in Google Docs and a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • NY Food Handler's Certificate and English Fluency are a plus.
