We seek Sous Chefs to join Chef Daniel Boulud's New York City

- Supervise food production at all stations, assisting cooks when
needed
- Support the Executive Chef in maintaining a smooth and
efficient service
- Order and inspect food items for quality
- Maintain kitchen equipment and adhere to cleanliness and
organization standards
- Track food costs as requested
- Minimize waste and maintain employee morale
- Lead by example with a strong work ethic and adherence to food
safety protocol
- Interact positively with supervisor, management, coworkers, and
the public
- Work with minimal supervision and problem solve for the best
solutions
- Read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals and technical
procedures
- Write reports and business correspondence
- Calculate figures and amounts
- Practice food safety procedures
- Train and motivate team
- Display superb organizational skills
- Manage time effectively
- Produce high-quality work
