Job Description:
Lead daily operations of a gelato shop, supporting a team and
ensuring a welcoming, efficient environment. Key responsibilities
include leading daily operations, training and motivating team
members, monitoring inventory, managing transactions, and upholding
quality and health standards.
- Lead daily operations with a positive presence, engaging with
guests, team members, and vendors
- Train, motivate, mentor, and organize team members to create a
cohesive team
- Manage inventory and process orders, requesting supplies as
necessary
- Manage transactions with accuracy, ensuring financial
accountability
- Record shift notes and assist with administrative tasks,
including scheduling
- UpHold quality, health, safety, and sanitation standards
consistently
- Document, investigate, and resolve guest issues with
professionalism
- Assist with additional duties as needed to support the team and
storeRequirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary degree
preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a lead or supervisory role in food
service
- Proficiency in math and handling money accurately
- Solid understanding of customer service and hospitality
practices
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- NYC Food Handler Card
- Knowledge of coffee preparation and Italian cuisine is a plusWe
