Job Description:

Lead daily operations of a gelato shop, supporting a team and ensuring a welcoming, efficient environment. Key responsibilities include leading daily operations, training and motivating team members, monitoring inventory, managing transactions, and upholding quality and health standards.

• Lead daily operations with a positive presence, engaging with guests, team members, and vendors
• Train, motivate, mentor, and organize team members to create a cohesive team
• Manage inventory and process orders, requesting supplies as necessary
• Manage transactions with accuracy, ensuring financial accountability
• Record shift notes and assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling
• UpHold quality, health, safety, and sanitation standards consistently
• Document, investigate, and resolve guest issues with professionalism
• Assist with additional duties as needed to support the team and storeRequirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a lead or supervisory role in food service
  • Proficiency in math and handling money accurately
  • Solid understanding of customer service and hospitality practices
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • NYC Food Handler Card
