Job OverviewAt Whole Foods Market - Columbus Circle, we are seeking a highly skilled Bakery Team Leader to join our team. • Lead and motivate a high-performing team of bakery staff to achieve sales and profit targets.
• Develop and implement effective strategies to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Manage inventory, merchandise, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other department leaders to achieve store goals and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Requirements
  • 24+ months of retail experience, including 12+ months of team leadership experience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and operations-related applications.Working ConditionsThis role requires standing/walking for up to 8 hours in an 8-hour workday, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals, temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit, and wet/dry conditions is also expected.
