Job Title: Prep CookJob Summary:Altro Paradiso is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of kitchen experience and be available to work mornings, nights, and weekends.Responsibilities:

• Assist in Menu Preparation: The Prep Cook will work closely with our chefs to prepare menu items, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• Stock and Label Prepped Items: The candidate will be responsible for labeling and stocking prepped menu items, ensuring that they meet the high standards of our restaurant.
• Wash, Chop, and Sort Food Items: The Prep Cook will be responsible for washing, chopping, and sorting food items, maintaining superior personal hygiene practices at all times.
• Set Up and Stock Stations: The candidate will set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies, ensuring that the kitchen is well-equipped to produce high-quality food.
• Ensure Food Quality and Portion Control: The Prep Cook will ensure that food quality and portion control meet or exceed standards, adhering to par levels within the department.Service Standards:
  • Maintain Kitchen Cleanliness: The candidate will maintain the high standards of cleanliness and appearance throughout the kitchen, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
  • Follow Department of Health Standards: The Prep Cook will follow all Department of Health (DOH) standards, ensuring that our restaurant meets the highest standards of food safety and quality.Benefits Offered:
