Job Description:
Assists Team Leader in daily operations, including
profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, and
regulatory compliance. Leads and develops Team Members, ensuring a
positive company image, and performing duties in accordance with
Standard Operating Procedures.Key responsibilities include:
- Store Layout and Merchandising: Develops creative store layout
and product merchandising.
- Sales and Labor Targets: Works with Team Leader to achieve
sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
- Analysis and Projections: Assists Team Leader in analysis of
sales, reports, and labor, and annual sales and expense
projections.
- Inventory Management: Assists team leader with ordering and
inventory management.
- Team Support: Works with Team Leader to resolve team concerns
or issues.
- Point Person: Functions as point person and departmental person
in charge in absence of Team Leader.
- Retail Execution: Sets and achieves the highest standards of
retail execution.
- Team Environment: Fosters and encourages a positive environment
of outstanding teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional
morale.
- Customer Service: Maintains awareness of customer flows and
needs and directs Team Members as necessary to satisfy and delight
customers.
- Team Member Development: Selects, trains, develops, mentors,
motivates, and counsels Team Members in a manner that sustains a
high-performance team and minimizes turnover.
- Performance Evaluations: Provides timely, thorough, and
thoughtful performance evaluations.Required skills and

- Lifting: Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

- Hand Use: Single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and
pulling.
- Motions: Bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
- Exposure: Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals,
temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit, and ability to work in a
wet and cold environment.
