Job SummaryWe are seeking an exceptional Team Leader to join our team at Whole Foods Caf--. As a key member of our Prepared Foods department, you will play a vital role in driving sales, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a high-performing team.Key Responsibilities

• Department Leadership: Assist the Team Leader in all aspects of daily operations, including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects.
• Team Development: Lead and develop Team Members, fostering a positive environment of outstanding teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale.
• Customer Service: Maintain awareness of customer flows and needs, directing Team Members as necessary to satisfy and delight customers.
• Inventory Management: Assist with analysis of sales, reports, and labor, ensuring accurate inventory management and minimizing waste.
• Vendor Relations: Maintain good vendor relationships, developing new vendor relations, and ensuring all paperwork is properly submitted for vendor processing.Requirements
  • Experience: 18+ months retail Team Member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills; proficient mathematical skills for assessing financial performance, monitoring profitability, and managing inventory; decision-making ability, leadership skills, and ability to prioritize and delegate.Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
    • Lifting: Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
    • Standing/Walking: In an 8-hour work day, standing/walking 6-8 hours.
