Summary: Prepares food items for cold case, fresh pack, salad, and hot bars according to production sheets, recipes, and quality standards. Ensures food quality, presentation, and safety, and provides excellent customer service.Responsibilities:

• Prepares food items according to production sheets and recipes.
• Ensures food quality, presentation, and safety.
• Lables, dates, and covers prepared items.
• Monitors food levels and replenishes in a timely manner.
• Arrives on time, properly groomed, and ready to work.
• Provides excellent customer service.
• Maximizes sales potential through effective procedures.
• Fulfills established procedures, including health and sanitation.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary environment.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Thorough product knowledge.
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions.
  • Good understanding of food production and cooking techniques.
  • Good basic math skills.
  • Strong to excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to meet customer service expectations.
  • Ability to follow directions and procedures.Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:
    • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
    • Standing/walking 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday.
    • Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
    • Exposure to temperatures: 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
    • Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
