Job Description:

Leads the Produce team, overseeing daily operations, profitability, and expense control. Accountable for hiring, development, and corrective actions. Provides exceptional customer service and maintains a positive work environment.

• Accountable for delivering outstanding customer service.

• Makes hiring and separation decisions.
• Monitors and achieves sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
• Maintains proper product assortment, merchandising, and inventory control.

• Ensures exceptional retail execution and fosters a positive team environment.
• Maintains awareness of customer needs and directs Team Members to satisfy them.
• Selects, trains, develops, and motivates Team Members to sustain a high-performance team.
• Provides timely performance evaluations.
  • Has advanced knowledge of products, buying, pricing, merchandising, and inventory management.
  • Has food safety certification or commits to obtaining it within 6 months.
  • Has excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.
  • Can teach others in a positive manner.
  • Has product knowledge and regulatory knowledge.
  • Has proficiency with Microsoft Office and operations-related applications.Requires 24+ months of retail experience, including 12+ months of team leadership experience.Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to cleaning chemicals and extreme temperatures.
