Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Prepared Foods Cook to join our team at Whole Foods Market - Williamsburg. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items for our customers.Responsibilities

• Prepare food items for the cold case, fresh pack, salad, and hot bars according to production sheets.
• Prepare food items according to recipe to ensure quality and consistency.
• Ensure that all prepared items are labeled, dated, covered, monitored for quality and freshness, and rotated.
• Monitor food levels and replenish in a timely manner.
• Provide excellent customer service, address customer needs in a timely and effective manner, and model suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximize sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment, maintain equipment in accordance with WFM cleanliness and safety standards, and ensure walk-ins and freezers are clean and organized.Requirements
• 6-12 months retail experience.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day.
• Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
