Job Description:

Daily Provisions - West Village, part of Union Square Hospitality Group, is seeking a Food Service Manager to lead our Front of House and Back of House teams.Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with General Manager to ensure consistently phenomenal service and best-in-class culinary, coffee, and beverage programs.
• Develop a culture of Enlightened Hospitality for all stakeholders that supports business objectives and growth.
• Exhibit expert knowledge of beverage and kitchen stations, championing Enlightened Hospitality to guests for in-store and digital orders.
• Maintain excellence and cleanliness of the store, ensuring proper inventory and staff familiarity with CGS.
• Provide continuous support to FOH&BOH staff and actively participate in the cycle of service as needed.
• Ensure Payroll process accuracy, on-time delivery, and compliance with business/accounting procedures.
• Ensure DOL/Health Department compliance regarding operation.
• Offer feedback and guidance with excellence and hospitality in mind, providing growth and development pathways for team members.
• Identify internal and external opportunities to build the growing team.Requirements:
  • 2+ years management experience in a similar environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Certification in Hospitality-related field or equivalent expertise gained from time on the job (preferred, not required).
  • Excellent verbal & written communication.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.).
  • NYC DOHMH Food Protection Certificate holder.
  • English fluency and Spanish preferred.Perks:
