Job Description:
Executive Chef to lead culinary team in NY, redefining the
social scene. Job Summary: Plan, organize, and lead the Kitchen
Department according to company policies and NYS standards.
- Ensure creative menu approach.
- Work well under stress.
- Plan and maintain Kitchen budget.
- Ensure efficient food production.
- Source seasonal ingredients from best suppliers.
- Analyze cost and quality of food production and manage within
budget.
- Train safe work habits and alert staff to unsafe areas.
- Implement and maintain Zero Bond standards.
- Maintain highest food quality and control for all food products
served.
- Ensure health, sanitation, and safety standards.
- Recruit kitchen members according to company and statutory
requirements.
- Identify recruitment needs and agree action plan with HR.
- Guarantee menus, recipes, and methods are followed.
- Check food outlets and displays for creativity, quality,
cleanliness, and food safety.
- Ensure timely set up, schedules well-trained cooks, and proper
uniform.
- Ensure teamwork and communication with front of house
staff.
- Accommodate guest and member requests when possible.
- Develop staff for future advancement.
- Delegate daily tasks to ensure smooth operation and
service.Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 5+ years'
experience, Food Handler's certification, strong knowledge of NYS
sanitation regulations, excellent communication skills, good work
history, and stability.Physical Requirements: Ability to seize,
grasp, turn, and hold objects, work on feet for at least 10 hours,
fast-paced movements, and occasional environmental exposures to
cold, heat, and water.
