Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Bakery Cake Designer to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for creating beautiful and delicious cakes and pastries that exceed our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Decorate Cakes: Use your artistic skills to create stunning cakes and pastries that are visually appealing and delicious.
  
  
• Follow Recipes and Procedures: Follow established recipes and procedures to ensure consistency and quality in our baked goods.
  
  
• Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet production demands and deadlines.
  
  
• Provide Excellent Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by being friendly, attentive, and responsive to customers' needs.
  
  
• Collaborate with the Team: Work collaboratively with the bakery team to ensure smooth operations and achieve our goals.
  
  
  
  Requirements:

  • 6-12 Months of Retail or Restaurant Experience: Have at least 6-12 months of experience in retail or restaurant environment.
    
    
  • Bakery Decorator Apprentice Training: Complete the Bakery Decorator Apprentice training program or have equivalent experience.
    
    
  • Ability to Lift 50 Pounds: Be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
    
    
  • Flexibility to Work Nights, Weekends, and Holidays: Be available to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
