Summary: Delaware North's Patina Restaurant Group seeks an experienced Sous Chef to manage production kitchen team and ala carte restaurant at Rowland's Bar and Grill in New York, NY. The ideal candidate has high volume production experience, strong ordering and inventory knowledge, and leadership skills.

Job Description: As a Sous Chef, you will assist in hiring, development, and mentoring of the team, coach and counsel team members, and maintain a team-oriented atmosphere. You will also assist in developing training programs and monitor staffing levels to minimize cost and increase productivity.

Qualifications:

• Three years' culinary arts experience, including previous experience in a management role.
• Excellent volume cooking skills, presentation skills, and palate.
• Strong leadership and management skills working with a variety of team members.
• Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, and kitchen computer production system.
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral, and good listening skills.
