Job Description for Prepared Foods Team LeaderAt Whole Foods Market - Midtown East (57th Street), we seek a highly skilled and experienced Prepared Foods Team Leader to lead our Prepared Foods team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a strong passion for delivering outstanding customer service, and a proven track record of driving sales growth and profitability.Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Team Management: The Prepared Foods Team Leader will be responsible for leading a high-performing team, providing coaching, guidance, and development opportunities to team members, and ensuring that team members are equipped to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Sales and Profitability: The Prepared Foods Team Leader will be accountable for driving sales growth and profitability through effective inventory management, merchandising, and visual merchandising strategies.
• Customer Service: The Prepared Foods Team Leader will be responsible for ensuring that customers receive a high level of service, responding to customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Operations and Logistics: The Prepared Foods Team Leader will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Prepared Foods department, including inventory management, ordering, and receiving.Requirements:
  • Leadership Experience: A minimum of 24 months of retail experience, including 12 months of team leadership experience.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with a proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Inventory Management: Proven experience in inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking.
