Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to lead our team at Rowland's Bar and Grill in New York, New York. As the ideal candidate, you will have high-volume production experience, strong knowledge of ordering and inventory, and excellent leadership and management skills. You will be responsible for managing and supervising the production kitchen team, developing training programs, and maintaining a team-oriented atmosphere.Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the production kitchen team
• Develop and implement training programs for the production team
• Monitor staffing levels and recommend staffing needs
• Coach, counsel, and conduct performance evaluations of the teamRequirements:
  • Three years' culinary arts experience, including previous experience in a management role
  • Excellent volume cooking skills, presentation skills, and palate
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, and kitchen computer production systemBenefits:
