About the Role:
The ideal candidate for this position will possess a strong passion
for food, with an interest in menu development and recipe testing.
They will be able to multi-task and perform multiple functions,
including prep, cook, and inventory management. The ability to take
direction and communicate productively with a small team is also
essential.
About the Company:
Superfolie is a jewel box wine bar located just off Rittenhouse
Square. We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to
join our team as a sous chef. The successful candidate will have
the opportunity to work under the direction of our Executive Chef,
Michael Valent, and be part of a professional environment grounded
in mutual respect.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and cook on site
- Prep and/or cook at our other locations, The Good King Tavern and
Superette
- Take direction and communicate productively with a small team
- Develop and test new recipes
- Maintain inventory and manage stock levels
