Job Description:

Leads the Prepared Foods team, overseeing daily operations including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, and regulatory compliance. Accountable for Team Member hiring, development, and separations. Ensures a positive company image by providing excellent customer service and adhering to store Standard Operating Procedures.

• Holds team members accountable for delivering outstanding customer service and builds a positive work environment of teamwork and mutual respect.
• Maintains proper product assortment, merchandising, and inventory control, and establishes collaborative relationships with department leaders and vendors.
• Selects, trains, develops, and mentors Team Members, and consistently communicates and models WFM vision and goals.
  • Advanced knowledge of products, buying, pricing, merchandising, and inventory management.
  • Food safety certification.
  • Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to teach others in a positive and constructive manner.Requires 24+ months retail experience, including 12+ months of team leadership experience. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stand/walk for 6-8 hours, and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.The wage range for this position is $23.60 - $33.05 Hourly.
