Information Systems Security Officer

Job Description:

A company is looking for an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to protect critical government information systems and data.



Key Responsibilities

Implement, manage, and maintain security controls in compliance with federal regulations and frameworks
Provide continuous monitoring, incident management, and risk mitigation for IT infrastructure and cloud services
Advise the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and other stakeholders on security matters


Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or 12 years of relevant work experience
At least 4 years of experience with cloud technologies and cybersecurity frameworks
Experience in security oversight and compliance of cloud systems, including IaaS and PaaS architectures
Preferred certifications: CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or AWS Certified Security - Specialty
Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a DOJ Public Trust clearance
