  • Design, code, test, and debug moderately complex software applications
  • Participate in software design reviews, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to software development best practices
  • Collaborate with product owners and QA teams to define feature specifications and develop high-quality deliverables
  • Investigate and leverage new technologies and frameworks to keep the software modern and competitive
  • Address and resolve software defects reported by the QA team or end-usersWhat Is Required (Qualifications)
    • 2+ years of professional experience in software development using frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Java/J2EE, Python, C#/.Net, or similar
    • Experience in optimizing large-scale applications, specifically those processing millions of daily transactions and managing terabyte-sized databases
    • Professional web application development experience, with a focus on the heavy utilization of either commercial or open-source web application frameworks
    • Demonstrated understanding of programming and advanced design patterns beyond the typical MVC
    • Experience in creating user interfaces with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React as well as, fluent in web services/API standards like REST and GraphQLHow To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
      • 0-2 years of experience as a software engineer in a similar role
