Job DescriptionJoin the development team as a central resource
and driving force for our database development tools and services.
Help design the product, build the product, evangelize the product,
support the product, and document the product. You are not solely
responsible for any one area, but are a critical resource for
making sure these things are done and done well.Career Level -
IC4ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the product development division,
you will work with internal and external customers to identify
challenges and opportunities around the development, deployment,
and monitoring of database applications. Communicate requirements
to development teams, provide UI and UX feedback during the
development process, and see products land in production.
Externally evangelize technology and help customers be successful
with our products and services. Collaborate and coordinate with
Support, Documentation, and QA teams - YOU are the face of R&D
internally and externally.Own the continuous deployment roadmap for
apps that help Oracle deploy applications that run our Database
ProductsDirectors, SVPs, and UX require close partnership to drive
consensus among highly technical stakeholdersA strong systems
domain with back-end infrastructure, and familiarity with code and
scripting would be idealExposure to Terraform, Github, SQL, and
high-availability systemsPerform market analysis as needed,
research up-and-coming technologies, and maintain awareness of
general industry trends.Present to customers and communities at
online and in-person events.Build collateral such as presentations
(PPT), technical briefs, blog posts, video tutorials, and Oracle
LiveLabs hands-on tutorials.Own the product roadmap, work with dev
managers to set release targets for new features and

business.Candidates are typically placed into the range based on

Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to
a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is
provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For
employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual
rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment
and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation
accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours
per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not
