we are hiring for our industry leading client in multiple locations

**Role: Senior Java Developer (Backend & Lead)**
**Locations:** Hybrid work setup in Jersey City, NJ / Boston, MA (but need someone within 100 miles of these locations)
**Duration:** 12-24+ months
**Visa:** Any
**Experience:** 7-10+ years

**Responsibilities:**
- Design and develop backend applications and microservices using Core Java and Spring Boot.
- Build scalable solutions with BPM and data pipelines in Spark/PySpark.
- Integrate frontend React applications and manage RESTful APIs.
- Work with data lakes (e.g., Iceberg) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Generate use cases and optimize frameworks using Java reflections.
- Collaborate with teams, mentor developers, and ensure system scalability/performance.

**Requirements:**
- 7+ years in Java backend development, microservices, and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Newgen One, React.js, and Spark/PySpark.
- Expertise in REST APIs, data lakes, and cloud (AWS/Azure).
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.
