Job Description:
A company is looking for a Claims Examiner - Workers
Compensation to analyze and manage complex workers' compensation
claims remotely.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and process complex workers' compensation claims to
determine benefits due
Negotiate settlements and manage the litigation process for
claims
Coordinate vendor referrals and manage claim recoveries, including
subrogation
Required Qualifications and Education
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
preferred
Five years of claims management experience or equivalent education
and experience
California Self-Insured Certificate required; must reside in
California
Subject matter expertise in insurance principles and laws related
to workers' compensation
Professional certification as applicable to the line of business
preferred
